Vietnam Train – Reliability and Speed

Have you ever been to Vietnam? I’m sure you must have not faced trouble while learning about its train network .Vietnam trains are very much popular for time punctuality plus with the speed they prevail through out the cities, it is all amazing. Like other countries, the Vietnam railway network is also controlled by a computerized system and ever since these electronic trains have been introduced in the country, the communication and transport has seen some huge exposure and people are now less concerned about how to travel around the cities. The railway system is said to be connected with China railways but in only two directions. One is from Lao Cai province to Van Nam province and the other one joins from Lang Son province and ends at Quang Tay province. So, there is a lot going around about railway systems of Vietnam and it would be better to know all about them in the first place to have a hassle free journey.

But when it is more developed, the railway network of Vietnam is likely to be linked with countries such as Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia. It has been reportedly confirmed that three types of gauge are being used by Vietnam railways and they are; 1000 mm-gauge, 11435 mm-gauge etc. You get a smooth feeling while completing your journey through the trains of Vietnam where everything is done in an organized manner and every train offers you 4 classes to pick from. These are hard-seat, soft-sheet, hard berth and a soft-berth portion. I would reckon to pick the hard-seat section because it is very much tolerable for day traveling but you may go for other class if there’s an over-night stay.

The main routes of the trains are from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and the other trains from Hanoi to the northwest and northeast are taken to China. Moreover, there are other local trains present in the cit but they do not cover the full part of the route and got many pit stops throughout the journey. So, I think you have been enlightened enough about the Vietnam train, I am sure you will cope up with this railway system once you go there because it is like a piece of cake for anyone. Indeed, traveling big cities of Vietnam through these electronic trains are fun and you get a beautiful feeling when some beautiful scenarios pass by your window.
